It's that time of year where Immune Support is on the top of everyone's minds, especially with the holidays fast approaching. These are five unique oils that will help you spice it up when it comes to trying to mix up oils, while still receiving the benefits that they provide. I tend to diffuse my oils rather than using them topically; however, by adding a carrier oil any of these oil combinations they can easily be converted.

White Fir has always been one oil that I tend to underestimate, mainly because it's never been my go-to oil; however, that is changing, and in a good way. It turns out White Fir is a really good oil for immune support. It's a great oil to use topically if you're experiencing a cold or are congested, but I most commonly use it in a diffuser along with Frankincense and a citrus oil, usually Orange or Citrus Bliss. This has been a nice change from my typical Immune Support blend.

OnGuard. This is one oil that I'm constantly using, I tend to go through a bottle a month if that gives you a sense at just how much I rely on this oil. I have typically combined it with Oregano and Peppermint in my diffuser. I learned a while ago that Peppermint and Oregano have powerful properties when mixed together, so adding OnGuard just seemed like a given. However, I have recently been branching off into other combinations, and I think I've found a new favorite. Try combing your immune blend with a few drops of Spearmint and a few drops of Orange. It's amazing, it almost smells like the tropical gum that they use to make. At least that's what it reminds me of. Try it out, and let me know what you think!

Frankincense is one of the oils that I don't tend to use enough given its remarkable properties I really should. When I'm really looking to change up the contents of my diffuser I tend to use Frankincense as a base oil and add another oil or two to create something new. I like to use one spicy oil and one mint oil, but it's really whatever you like. This is also a great way to expand your oil catalog and try out some new ones! You can never go wrong with this oil if you're looking to gain immune support from your oils.

Elevation. This may seem like a weird choice, but hear me out. Citrus oils are great for immune support because of their many natural properties. Think about the Orange Juice that you drink every morning or the Grapefruit that you have for breakfast. Citrus oils are great for this time of the year, and Elevation is no exception. This is a great oil to use if you're trying to switch it up, and it has to benefits; it makes you happy, and it provides immune support. I don't think it gets much better! Or Maybe it does and I just don't know it, but either way this is one oil that can be used on its own or mixed with another, and either way, it won't disappoint. Don't trust me? Give it a try!

This last oil is more like a combination of oils and is actually one of the few topical mixes that I use. There are several different combinations that people use and names that they give it but this how I make mine. I like to combine ten drops of Oregano, OnGuard, and Tea Tree oil in a rollerball and add Fractionated Coconut Oil to it. I apply it to the bottoms of my feet two or three times daily depending on what I'm doing or types of people that I'm around.

So there you go. Those are some of the new oils I've found, and a few old favorites, that I like to use to maintain immune support. What are your go-to combinations? For more follow along on Instagram @myessentialoilcollection .
